Wicked times

Last night I drenched my pillow in tears, alternately with sorrow, anger and rage. Why? Because my America, my state, my heritage, is lost. We may never be able to get it back.

My husband came home from his huckleberry prospecting yesterday to tell me that some government agency is spraying the forests with a chemical that is killing the huckleberries. While he was out he saw brown, dead bushes that will never again yield the luscious purple berries that both humans and bears love to eat. They are killing a traditional food supply for us all, and even the animals who depend upon them.

He also informed me that baited wolf traps litter the area- where people used to love to walk with their dogs. The traps endanger not only people and dogs, but other animals as well. Signs can't be read by animals- duh. Shoot them according to the law if you must, but baited traps are cruel and dangerous to every one and every thing. I was enraged!

Yesterday morning I had coffee with an old friend who told me about some experiences he had with campgrounds and small towns in south central Idaho - the tides of immigrants from Mexico who are pushing local residents out. Many of the residents of those towns are moving to Twin Falls - where they will experience yet another government travesty. Mexican and South American Immigrants who live on the taxpayer welfare money - and drive their expensive trucks with boats  and ATVs. They are not friendly, these people who feel entitled. Are they getting so much taxpayer money that they live better than most ordinary people? Or are they supplementing it with drug money?

Idaho 's governor Butch Otter has also accepted the stream of Muslims from Syria into our state...more welfare money out of our pockets for people who hate us and want us dead. Some are sent to Boise, some are sent to Twin Falls...so the people who were pushed out of other towns will eventually be pushed out of Twin Falls as well. What will they do?

Let me make this clear - Idahoans are generally good people. But this kind of government malfeasance must stop. Will we, as residents of this state continue to be destroyed by the government? Or will we do something about it?

That's just Idaho. What about the nation as a whole? Where people kill police officers out of spite. Where a race war is on our doorstep because of a President who is a hate-filled Marxist.  Where good is thought of as evil and evil is good? Where Christians are now targets as the bad guys and treated with disdain? Where we are threatened on every side from people who hate us...

We are in desperate need of God. Will our desperation finally drive us to our knees?

What is a President?

As I perused the news today I made note of all the headlines and blogger comments on everything from Mitt Romney's dog incident to Barack Obama's comments on being President at a Hollywood Fund raiser. Being President is not "prose," it is being strong and compassionate at the same time. I've come up with a short list of qualities our American President should embody- I invite you to add to the list.

1.Above all things, a President must be quick to defend against the enemies of democracy. He (or she) must have a foreign policy that stands ready to swiftly protect the American people and their interests from harm. This President is fond of claiming diplomacy in favor of our enemies, and rudeness to our allies.

2. A President must understand the history of America- its heroes, its Bill of Rights, its Constitutional heritage. This President has no regard whatsoever for our founding documents, our ability to win armed conflict, or the inner values of the average American. This President has attempted to re-write our history to delete the people of the past who served this nation with distinction and honor. He has done that by claiming that we are not really a Christian nation, and trying to manipulate school children into politically correct (incorrect) verbiage.

3. A President must love America, and stand firmly at her side come hell or high water. This President has never done so in any foreign situation. He has apologized, criticized, and ostracized Americans continually. He has created the largest deficit in American history and continues to pull out the very foundations of our economy in the name of "taxing the rich" and "redistributing wealth to the poor." American businesses could go the way of the dinosaur if we do not find a way to bring health and fresh jobs to their aid. To love America is to deeply care about her people and her future.

4. Finally, a President should be compassionate. Whatever mistakes President Bush made (and he made many), everyone knew that he cared about his troops and the people of America. The current President never shows any emotion whatsoever. A man who cannot show emotion over the plights of others is not the kind of President that is good for America.

Be aware of these qualities as you vote in this upcoming election. If you choose a man with emotionless qualities over compassion, we will again find ourselves with a man like the one we have. I do not care to live in a socialist/Marxist society. I pray that we will choose a man of integrity and honor, with love for his country. Let's not exchange one problem for a similar one.

Prayer and the President

http://www.redstate.com/breeanneh/2012/02/02/give-me-your-money-in-the-name-of-jesus/

I read the above blog this morning and was grieved that any President of our nation could be so deceived and foolish. The Bible says that God honors His Word ABOVE His Name- and His Name is above every other Name, so messing with His Word can bring some horrifying consequences. If anyone adds to His Word or takes away from it, that person is essentially cursed- and removed from God's Book of Life. (Rev 22:18-19)

We are called to pray for our President and all leaders in America. We are called to bless them and not curse them. That's one reason why. They can actually curse themselves during the course of their terms. The President used the "Prayer Breakfast" to justify his actions and attempt to twist the facts. He apparently doesn't realize the danger of sticking his middle finger in the air at God.

Maybe God will have mercy on him, but only if we pray in the heart of God.I submit to all of us that most Christians are so angry with Mr. Obama that they will not pray anything but curses and anger. We must rise past that and do it according to His Word.

And please, Mr. Obama, stop pretending that your cultural god is the real one, and bend your knees to pray to the right One. You need relationship to the REAL Jesus, and a re-think of your actions.

Blogger's Blues

Ahhh, the sunset. Just makes me feel warm and fuzzy all over to look at the glorious sunsets in the sky. Better than listening to the garbage out there right now.

Sometimes I get tired of trying to talk about political junk. Tomorrow is the Florida election and there's so much acrimony among the candidates it leaves me speechless. Yes, speechless. Hard to believe.I don't want to listen to their crap, period. They have spent so much time pitted against each other that their program ideas, and solutions to our problems have been weak at best.

Then there's the $16.4 Trillion U.S. debt by the end of 2012, and that just makes me want to vomit. I have always believed that America would stand for years to come because God has had His hand on us. But the teter-totter can only go so high before somebody gets knocked off, and that debt thing is going to knock us off. We are going to experience some real "shaking in the nation" because our God is fiscally responsible- He talks about increasing money (talents), not increasing debt. Maybe when America has spent all of its inheritance, its children's, inheritance, and its great-great grandchildren's inheritance, etc, it will fall to its knees to repent. (Almost there? does $16.4 trillion get us there?) I'm not holding my breath. We're not very "civilized" there days.

I've seen a lot about so-called "civilized" people over my half-century lifespan. The Ancient Romans pitted people against lions. Now the only place you hear about lions is Africa-- none left in the Middle East. Good goin', Rome. They also slaughtered people as if they were worthless. Really civilized way to devalue human beings. Which is why I'm concerned about America.
Both "left" and "right" have become vicious, much like the Roman Empire. God's not pleased with that either, folks. And it gives me one of those "pits" in my stomach. I'm not afraid, because I know my God and He loves me. But collectively America is sitting on the precipice of disaster. Think I'll go out tonight and watch the sunset... I just hope that sun isn't setting over our nation.

Who are We Standing For?

Ok, I have a bone to pick with Christians, and a complaint about the government. Nice combo, don't you think?

1. The government is hell-bent toward dropping America into Communism/Socialism in the name of "fairness." Most of the folks who subscribe to that philosophy don't know jack about what it means to follow that path. "Spreading the wealth" --money to everyone means that no one gets any except the top level- I can prove that by what happens when you get millions of people involved in a class action lawsuit. My hubby got a whopping $.21 from a class action lawsuit against EBAY. Whee, I feel rich already! Point is, when everyone is "entitled" to money, nobody gets much.

These people simply have an opinion and that opinion tries to paint the rest of us as imbeciles. And frankly, sometimes we are. We have knee-jerk reactions to things that we should be wisely countering. We go off and say ridiculous things that make the media circle us like sharks smelling blood in the water. It's embarrassing.

And just for drill, not one candidate for President is free of sin- everybody's got it. And I frankly don't give a darn about what kind or ilk it is. We just need strong leadership- which seems to be lacking in many areas. Sometimes the worst sinners make great leaders (evidenced by King David- murderer, adulterer, great king).

2. Christians are supposed to hold themselves to a higher standard than those reactions. "Bless those who curse you" is a case in point. Do we ever bless the President, or are we cursing him daily? I mean spiritually too- we are constantly griping, complaining, whining, and cursing in the name of "standing for the truth." Well, gang the truth is in the New Testament, and He commands us to bless and not curse. If we want a new President, if we want God's best for us, WILL WE OBEY HIM? WILL WE GET THE MESSAGE?

I sincerely doubt that Christianity will get it. We're on an I-hate-Obama roll. Whether we like him or not is irrelevant- we are supposed to obey the Lord's Word and bless him. Until we do so, we are in for a ride. Defeating Obama can only happen when the Body of Christ unites to obey the Word of God.

So we're Lazy now?

The President thinks America is "lazy" because we "haven't been attracting foreign businesses." Ouch. Let me dig a little deeper into that statement.

First off, the President has planned more initiatives to set up foreign investment in this nation. You might be thinking, "great! More money for us!" But think about it -- we have opened our doors to foreign investors to the point where a lot of American businesses are actually owned by other nations. China, for example, owns 70% or thereabouts of American communication companies. (You can look that up)Do we really want MORE of that? Ask the Chinese corporation in southern Idaho why their little enclave is literally considered foreign soil. Hmmmm?

Arab interests, too, have skyrocketed over the last decade. Can our own businesses keep up with the money that has been pouring into this country? Not really. Many of them have gone under, and been taken over by international concerns. But lazy? Mr. President, that's not correct.

The President wants American businesses to go overseas and attract more foreign investment. I am not certain that's a good idea. I don't think American businesses are "lazy." Many have established themselves overseas and prospered at it. But bringing overseas back to us? I'm not sure that's the best plan.

More shaking on the way

When our government started to push the "peace process" by demanding that Israel give up territory in the "Road Map", we got hit with Katrina. So what can we expect after today's demand that they go back to pre-1967 borders?

Here's the deal: there were many miracles during the 1967 war- all sorts of supernatural signs that God fought for Israel. Tanks in formation that didn't exist, soldiers that weren't real, etc.Very similar to the story of Gideon and his meager 300 men against the massive armies of the time. But today, our government literally thumbed its nose at God's intervention in that war to demand that Israel bag it.

Now I realize that in a blog I'm supposed to be mild and meek and sweet and nice. But put in simple (as nice as I can be) terms, today's move by our leader is a terrible mistake. As much as God loves the Arab people, there was something about the land that God decided should be given to the Jews. I'm not in charge, I can't comprehend it, but that's what He did. I want peace as much as the next guy- but I want a true peace, one that comes from the heart. And I want it for all the peoples of the Middle East. Unfortunately, that can only happen with a change of heart- because there is hatred that is deep on both sides. It will not be bridged by a "peace plan" or a "road map" or any agreement reached by man.

God is very real. People can believe what they want, but the God of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, David and Paul is alive and well. And He doesn't like it when people ignore Him, or deliberately tell Him to cram it. Doing that guarantees a response-- and the avalanche rolls downhill.

I'm not so much mad as I am grieved for America. I love my country and our leadership seems bound and determined to throw us under wheels of the the Fiery Chariot. Good thinkin'.

From Exploration to Implosion

This week has seen some real nutcase actions so far by the government. We have the government filing a lawsuit against Arizona for trying to enforce the law. ????(Smart, I tell ya, real smart.)

We have the Obama-Netanyahu meeting where everybody smiled for the cameras, when you know that both men would like to take a brick and "bless" the other upside the head. Bibi would win.

We have the recess appointment of some idiot who wants socialized medicine to a major Medical oversight department in the government. Sigh.

Frankly the worst ding-dong issue is one you might not have noticed:

Excerpt from www.RedState.com (Erick Erickson)
"NASA: From the Moon to Mecca
From the "you can't make this up" file, President Obama is turning NASA into his Muslim-outreach agency. According to Fox News, NASA Administrator Charles Bolden says that NASA's foremost mission in 2010 is to improve relations with the Muslim world.
Pause. Re-read. Pause. Huh? Yes. Re-read again.
He went on to say, "[w]hen I became the NASA administrator - or before I became the NASA administrator - [President Obama] charged me with three things. One was he wanted me to help re-inspire children to want to get into science and math, he wanted me to expand our international relationships, and third, and perhaps foremost, he wanted me to find a way to reach out to the Muslim world and engage much more with dominantly Muslim nations to help them feel good about their historic contribution to science . and math and engineering."
Now, reasonable people can disagree about what NASA should be doing and how much we should spend on a national space program. But come on - are you serious?"
*********

Excuse me.Our President has lost what little mind he had left. NASA is a SPACE exploration program. Not the space between your ears, the space out there in the cosmos. He just destroyed the hopes and dreams of thousands of potential astronauts who wanted to see the universe- now they are supposed to stroke Arabs like puppies to make them feel better. Good grief. If we needed more counselors in the government, he should have tasked the Department of Health and Human Services, not the Space Agency! Yikes.

If these times seem totally bizarre to you, it's because our leader has never known God personally, nor has he ever loved America. He grew up in bitterness, obviously.

The Islamic political system is based upon hatred of those not involved in it. It is not strictly a religion, it is a political governing based upon bitterness and anger and jealousy. Hosea Ballou, one of our nation's early leaders, once said that "any religion which requires hatred to sustain it, is of the devil's own propogation."

True love allows people to fulfill their potential, allows them to grow and become all that God intended. The definition of these things in our current leadership is one of control and supression, not expression. Exploration is a form of expression. It is an optimistic view of the universe, one that says there are things yet to be discovered. Turning that program inward is a destroyer of hope.

When the Apollo program landed on the moon, in spite of the deaths, in spite of the setbacks, something marvelous happened: the entire world sat glued to their TVs, excitedly watching a new era of exploration. It was a great day. It was a day of hope.It was a day of horizons reached, of fresh trails to blaze. The same happened when President Bush suggested that we shoot for Mars. A new horizon to touch, a fresh journey to embark upon...great excitement washed all over America that day. It didn't last.

Along comes Obama, who takes those hopes and smashes them by changing the very nature of new horizons. No longer do we have something exciting to look forward to, now we have to walk backwards into the old. Now we have to grovel in the swamp of bitterness and people who feel sorry for themselves. No thanks, Mr. President. I hope that enough people start squawking about this "decree" so it will fall.

Powder Kegs

The term "powder keg" has been around for centuries. It stems from a wooden keg filled with gunpowder that was kept for reloading muskets. They were highly volatile, and if a spark or flame got anywhere near them, they would blow up and start huge fires, as well as level the buildings and people around them.

We are there. The entire world is a powder keg waiting to happen today, far worse than it was yesterday. The news media is, of course, blaming Israel for being "aggressive.". They are wrong. This flotilla/blockade situation was set up deliberately by pro-palestinians for several weeks perhaps even months. They were fully aware that Israel could not let them pass through the Gaza blockade. They were fully aware that the intelligence showed items not related to humanitarian needs in the ships. And they have played it up to make Netanyahu the bad guy, when, frankly,it was the opposition. They did it on purpose.Turkey has threatened today to "drown Israel in their own blood." And are we going to help? Oh, no, we're making it worse.

Our Prez called up Bibi today and "demanded" he do something. Why should he? Our Prez won't do anything about the slaughter at our own borders, so why should Bibi listen to the threats from the WH? So relationship with our staunchest friend, Israel, has been ready to blow up for over a year now.Another keg about to start an explosion that can't be stopped.

Iran is bragging about their enriched uranium, enough for two nukes. Oh, goody. Iran has been pumping up their nuclear capabilities-- yes, read that bombs-- while the world twiddles its thumbs babbling about sanctions. Iran did THAT on purpose too, by the way. Yep, smoldering powder keg there too.

Add to that volcanic eruptions, catastrophic oil spills, the two Koreas at each other's throats, European economies on the verge of disaster, and you have a lovely concoction of powder keg. Will it blow? As the risk of sounding doom and gloom, I think it will have to eventually. Like the fault lines that cause major earthquakes, it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when. I don't think our leadership is wise enough to handle it properly, and will come down on the wrong side.

Who will light the fuse? I personally think it's already lit. It just depends on how long the fuse is...

Stupak, Netanyahu,Threats and Other Dangers

Let me say this first: I have never claimed to be sane. I do claim to have a unique perspective. My past experiences reveal some information you may not be aware of for daily life, so listen up and listen carefully. My past includes a short stint in MENSA (3 years, so in case you want to call me a moron, guess again. Just sayin').

Everything you see with your eyes is not really what exists. The things we touch, see, feel are actually made up of things that we cannot see. Solid objects, for example, are not truly "solid"; they are made up of millions of moving atoms. They ram each other and share electrons with unimaginable speed. Their closely packed movement and shared electrons creates the illusion of solid matter.Look at a periodic table sometime and see that each element is a combination of different atoms that have "combined" in their movements.

Take water, for example. It looks real, it flows, we can touch it and feel it and drink it. But it is really hydrogen gas that has combined with oxygen gas.(H2O)In other words, their molecules have combined and formed something else.
Fire and Lightning are actually particles of energy that became ionized from their movement- stick your hand in that energy stream and you will get burned. Point is, what you see around you is not real- what you can't see is what causes what is visible!

Let me give you a graphic example: I once worked with a German lady who had been an "interpreter at Auschwitz" during WWII. At first we had great conversations and worked together well. One morning during one of those conversations, something I mentioned suddenly caused a black spirit to cover her face. It was visible, dark, and completely engulfed her body from the head down. From that moment on, hatred ran her. Whether I mentioned something about God's chosen people or Christians doesn't matter- a demonic force took control of her. For the next few months she went wild. She started drinking alcohol in the bathroom. She started tearing up criminal records and pitching them in the garbage. She tried to get me fired with lies. She told different lies to each employee. One day she went totally crazy and left work- she was found several hundred miles away in Canada, wandering the streets in a mental fog! We did not realize that her life as a Nazi interpreter had allowed her to live with a demon of hatred all those years. And it destroyed her.

So let's talk about what is happening in our government, our country right now. The vicious anger and hatred that is manifesting in the political arena is not just caused by out-of-control people. It is a manifestation of demonic forces unleashed in America. Example: Bart Stupak played into the hands of a judas spirit- or a spirit of betrayal. And, like Judas in real life, he has now stated he will not run for re-election. In short, he has seen his sin of "taking silver" for lives and is getting out of the arena. He is lost, in effect, from the job.

Another example: the threats against both Dems and Reps. We look at that and think it's all stupid people. Well, they may be stupid (I.Q.= -33). But they have allowed themselves to be run by demonic forces- in short, the spirits of hatred and murder. BOTH sides are falling into the trap. Satan's house is NOT divided, no matter what label is on it.Nancy Pelosi frequently falls into the trap by calling the conservatives names and treating Tea Party activists as evil. As Jesus once said, you are all children of your father, the Devil.

Our President and his Secretary of State recently treated the Prime Minister of Israel like trash. He was snubbed, yelled at, and basically run over by the Obama freight train. Big problem with that is that it comes from a Haman Spirit- or an anti-semitic demonic force that has been around since the beginning. It's a demon, plain and simple.

Mr. Netanyahu is a strong man of principle, and pushing him is a mistake. Israel is supposed to be an ally - we have been the ONLY two nations who together have been a formidable force of strength against tyranny in the Middle East. All of the others who call themselves our "allies" are compromised due to the Muslim influence. In the spiritual realm, God loves the Israeli people, they are His original chosen ones. Be nasty to them, you step into a realm of real danger. Our own President has acted directly against the Living God -- think about it, not a smart move.

Let me put it as plainly as possible: if the people of America do not STOP right now and turn around their attitudes and actions, we are going to collapse as a nation. If our leaders don't repent, Pandora's box will remain open and the tribulations will grow even worse. The only hope we have is a move of the Holy Spirit upon us to create a place of repentance and reversal of the animosity. Hit your knees, America, and stop allowing the rulers of darkness access to your hearts! The things you cannot see are attempting to destroy us.

Presidential Connections

I sat at my desk this morning, re-reading a thank you letter sent to me by former President Bush, and the tears welled up in my eyes. Do any of you realize that we have lost the connection to our President?

Even as a child growing up, we were able to send letters or small gifts to our President, just to encourage or thank him for being our President. It's a tough job, that. Even though our Chief of State has always been wealthier than the average person, they seemed like one of us: success stories of people who worked hard, and came to make the nation a better place.

This President has made a lot of noise about being reachable and open. Yet it has been the exact opposite. His Blackberry notwithstanding, the sense is that the "real person" aspect of the Presidency is gone. He simply doesn't feel like "one of us." Now, before someone tries to tell me that's racial, it's not. He could be Asian, Native American, Black, or Martian for all I care -- it's the personal sense of a man that tells us they are approachable by ordinary citizens.

If you read the White House web site these days, you will find a fairly strongly worded statement that says no gifts. You aren't supposed to send them a book for encouragement like previous administrations (I've sent several before). And I suspect letters will come back form letters with stamped signatures rather than real ink.(If you get a reply at all). I was going to send the first kids a photo of my dog and a letter of encouragement for them with Bo, but no way after that slap in the eye from the website. It simply is not personable- and makes ordinary citizens feel like we are beneath his dignity.

The wonderful thing about America has always been that the President is reachable, and teachable. He understands and has compassion for the people of his country. He learns from the circumstances and alters his course if necessary. He feels the plight of the poor, but understands the importance of the business community. His first priority is security and protection. He balances left and right and tries to work with both. He tries to get consensus, not ram his own agenda down our throats. It doesn't feel that way anymore -- and I think that means we are in trouble as a nation. With a Congress that will likely be at least halfway unseated this year because of voter anger, and a President who is unreachable and unteachable, we've got some serious days ahead. Whether or not this all stems from a broken home in his childhood or an upbringing of false doctrines, it still shows as personally bad for the people of America. If I'm wrong, Mr. President, prove it.
