Unsolicited Comments on the News

1. Nanci Pelosi has been quoted as telling the press that the government "doesn't have a spending problem." Sure, Nancy. No spending problem. Right. If it's not spending, what is it? Creative bookkeeping? That's illegal in the corporate world, by the way. We've added trillions of dollars to the national debt. We've given away millions to companies in the name of "green jobs" that have only produced a few positions, and many of those companies went out of business anyway. The government gives and gives to people who don't produce. It attacks and belittles those who do. Backwards, if you ask me. "Woe to those who call evil good and good evil." Bible quote. Yeah yeah, I know, even using that kind of quote makes ME a target. Bite me. 2. Pope Benedict resigned as of Feb 28 from his post due to physical concerns. Anyone who has ever been in any kind of ministry knows the heartache of having to pack it in, regardless of the reason. Especially the guy who has been in charge of the largest denomination in the world. I can't imagine his brokenness. I feel bad for him. It has to hurt his heart deeply. 3. Diane Feinstein is not very smart. She recently told Californians to lay down their weapons. What, does she think gangbangers, terrorists, and others will do that? The only people who would do that are "sheeple," as one of my friends put it. The Bill of Rights is the main reason that America is free. Without it, we would be just another still developing nation. It is because of those rights (privileges)that we have been able to maintain our freedoms in spite of world trends and pervasive stupidities. Our current leadership is completely oblivious to the needs of America. They have set us up for a huge destructive crash- not just economically, but ideologically. When a nation is as divided as we are right now, there is only one ultimate outcome- I'll leave it to you to decide what that outcome will be.
